In this special edition of the SMYRC Revolution we do a whole interview in SPANISH! Our own Washington Pride Project youth David shares with you his experiences about relationships, safer sex, and dreaming about a profession in psychology when he grows up. When youth talk about their plans for the future, the way they have overcome adversity, and their pearls of wisdom for the next generation I get more than a little inspired. All I can say to David is You go BOY!!!

Growing up Queer.

In this episode SMYRC youth Amy shares her thoughts on transitioning into queer Adulthood, the things she leaves behind, and her hopes for the future. Youth contribute in all sorts of ways to create a safe space in SMYRC. As an adult volunteer I am always amazed at the creativity and artistic freedom youth endeavour to express in the space. Self-Mutilation, appropriate adult intervention tips.

In the latest episode of the SMYRC Revolution podcast Washington County Pride Project youth Randy opens our eyes and hearts to youth who self-mutilate. This is an area of great concern for adults who work with youth at risk, but many adults do not know how to have appropriate interventions with youth. In this interview, from my perspective it was an an eye opener, find good tips and lessons for adults who want to make a difference in the lives of youth who self-mutilate. MySpace outed me!

In this episode of the SMYRC Revolution SMYRC youth Mitch talks to us about being the president of a Gay-Straight-Alliance at Clackamas Community College in Oregon, and being outed by MySpace. Mitch is one of those youth who are going places. Not only was he the president of Clackamas Community College's Gay-Straight-Alliance (a tremendous feat in and of itself!) but he also runs GPIQS (Greater Portland Intercollegiate Queer Society). Queer spirituality from the Youth Diva Perspective.

Tune in to the SMYRC Revolution podcast for a bit of Diva wisdom. SMYRC youth Onyx discusses with us the best way to apply make up, and queer Spirituality. You have the right to Self-Definition!

In this exciting episode of the SMYRC Revolution, our own Eli shows us how to exercise our right to Self-Definition! We also learn how one can be youth and Asexual at the same time, believe it or not. Trans-people are often in a gray area of the the Gay liberation movement, but the more we talk to youth and adults who identify as Transsexual the more we come to understand that the movement needs to be inclusive of them also.
